Lighting for Stage
One particular discipline I’ve surprisingly enjoyed doing was lighting, which I never would have discovered if it wasn't for the opportunities provided through my degree.
I was fortunate enough to be able to study abroad in Vancouver, Canada as part of my degree.
I got to experience working in a different country as well as working with new people and leading a team of lighting crew.
Studying in Canada
During my studies in Vancouver, I was made ‘head of lighting’ for the college production of “The Soldier Dreams”.
This involved communicating with the lighting designer to set up their LX plan in the theatre space.
